What i did today

Ok so before i get started I'm going to let you know that my family is a little kookie... not in a bad way though...I have the kind of parents that joke around and are funny and honestly I don't mind spending time with them . My sister and I are complete goofballs that go around making funny faces at each-other and sing random songs at work (peanut butter jelly time) , so all in all we take ourselves very seriously... Not. So today we decided to go down to the city for a shopping day... you can all just about imagine how excited for this my dad was. So i booked the day off work and we drove into the city, considering we all work at the same place trying to keep the car ride off the topic of conversation "the Restaurant" was sort of difficult. After a couple of phone calls we were finally having our family day. As you all know trying to find a parking stall downtown vancouver is practically impossible so my dad manages to squeeze the truck into a parallel parking stall and what do you know... my moms door is right beside a post... no way is she going to be able to get out. So after slowly moving the truck forwards a little everyone was finally out of the car and we are on our way. The rest of the day was pretty uneventful other than the odd joke made here and there...My sister making fun of my dad me making fun of my mom etc. Normal family stuff....We are just shopping away and We see a store that looks kind of cool has some nice clothing, we walk in and start looking around i see a couple things i like so i try them on, as we get farther back in the store we see a sign that says check out the back room....We walk in and guess what it was... A sex shop..... anyway needless to say I walked out immediately...As we are walking around the clothing part of the store we start to notice the pictures on the walls and now notice something we didn't before....99% of the woman in the pictures are shirtless... What is a mother to do when she realizes she walked into a sex shop with her 15 year old daughter... the only thing she can do... laugh, and that's exactly what we did. Not that the whole store was a sex shop... just the " back room" The funny part is my mom bought me a book in clothing part of the store... it is an biography of Audrie Hepburn... Who i might add is my IDOL!! So after the rest of our shopping day we make our way to a japanese restaurant called Osakas, Its one of those restaurants where the chef prepares everything right in front of you due to limited tables you are forced to sit with complete strangers...We got seated with the cutest two little old guy Brothers who must have been at least 75 + years old. The one of the who whore those really big pop bottle glasses that makes his eyes look like they are 5 x their size was completely addicted to his iphone...I have to say he is probably the first 75 year old man I have ever seen who has an iphone, not only did he have one, but he was playing on his apps.... So anyways after having a mediocre diner with these two we made our way home and i am now seated at our computer writing this :)
